are applications for Commission action to set aside the provisions
of the Code in circumstances where their strict observance would
cause instability or confusion.
Comments
on Cases
Publication
of an application in the form of a Case is an invitation for
any person to contribute comments, which may also be published.
Comments on Cases are published on this website.
Opinions
The
Commission makes a ruling, called an Opinion, on a case only after
a suitable period for comments. All Opinions are published in the Bulletin
of Zoological Nomenclature and abstracts of recent Opinions
are published on this website.
General
Articles & Nomenclatural Notes
The Bulletin also
contains General Articles and Nomenclatural Notes relevant to zoological
nomenclature; such contributions are invited and should be sent
to the Secretariat.
