Overview:

David J. Patterson has worked on the taxonomy, evolution and biogeography of protozoa and other protists at the Universities of Bristol and Sydney, and he is now located at the Marine Biological laboratory, Woods Hole, Massachusetts. His taxon-specific expertise includes heterotrophic flagellates, heliozoa, ciliates, and free-living amoebae.
