Professor Izyaslav M. Kerzhner

Izyaslav M. Kerzhner. Born on 6 March 1936 in Dnepropetrovsk (now Ukraine). Graduated from the St. Petersburg University in 1958. Since that time working at Zoological Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences, St.Petersburg. Professor, Dr. Biol. Sci., Chief researcher. Specialist in taxonomy of Palaearctic Heteroptera and the world fauna of the family Nabidae. More than 200 publications. Secretary of the Russian Committee on Zoological Nomenclature. Translated into Russian the 3rd and 4th editions of the Code. Editor of the journal "Zoosystematica Rossica".
